Choirs can enter the postcode of their concert venue. The web site then generates a link to the streetmap web site which displays a map of the venue location.

Colin Newman of the Meljon Singers asks if we could extend the facility to make it possible to enter grid references as an alternative to post codes. This would be useful, because some churches don't have post codes. (Also I have heard the the post office are going to abolish post codes ...)

We will look to incorporate this into the next update to the site. I think the way it could work is that we offer choirs the option of entering a post code or a grid reference. If the post code is blank, the program will look for a grid reference.
