St Faith's Crosby, nr. Liverpool

** Change of date **

Open rehearsal will now take place on Friday 28th November at 1915hours.

All welcome!

Vacancies in the choir are filling up fast. Ability to sight-read is not a prerequisite but would be a distinct advantage.

We're looking for singers to join the choir, and also those unable to commit to joining the choir full time, but would be willing to deputise on an occasional basis.

The Director of Music will be pleased to hear from any orchestral players willing to play at St. Faith's when the need arises. i.e. for Bach Cantata no 10 and future works.

Contact Sam Austin (newly appointed Director of Music) without obligation.
email: stfaithschoir@googlemail.com
mob: 07921 840616

Future works include Bach Cantata 10 with orchestra, Messe de Requiem by Jehan Alain and Byrd 4 part Mass.

St. Faith's church choir is mixed 4 part. We sing a motet every Sunday and have a choral mass once a month. We often tackle larger works both in and out of liturgical context. Choir practice is on a Friday 1915-2030 and rehearsal for Sunday Mass is at 1030hours.

There will be an open rehearsal on Thursday 27th November, singing through some forthcoming works (Bach Cantata, Byrd and Christmas stuff), with refreshments and entertainment. All welcome, contact Sam Austin for details.

The church is at the junction of the A565 (Liverpool Road) with Kingsway and with College Road, and is diagonally opposite the grounds of Merchant Taylors' School, whose prominent tower is a local landmark. L22 4RE
