The English Arts Chorale - Can you rise to the Challenge?

New Year, New Beginnings - A Six Month Challenge for experienced singers.

Starting 11th January 2010, the English Arts Chorale embarks on a mammoth project to prepare three of the greatest works in the choral repertoire: Bach's St Matthew Passion, Walton's Belshazzar's Feast and Vaughan Williams' Sea Symphony.

The three works will be performed in two concerts with orchestra in March and early July. Experienced singers who would like to take up such a challenge are invited to contact our membership secretary on members@englisharts.org. Two or three rehearsals, and if you like what you see (and we like you), you can gain full membership after a short audition (including some sight reading).

If you have the experience and ambition that will enable you to master or re-learn these major works over such a short time frame, we look forward to hearing from you.

The English Arts Chorale is based in Reigate in Surrey and has performed throughout England and also abroad. To find out more about the Chorale visit www.englisharts.org
