Dozens of choirs do it - and many are disappointed (the concert is expensive and there is no audience). One has to know the local scene to understand why. I am a strictly non-profit-making one-man show, rather knowledgeable about the Czech musical scene in general. -- I can offer any chamber choir an opportunity, in July-September 2006, length of stay optional, not only to rehearse and give a concert in Prague with a crack students orchestra but to get to know the city with expert local help, for a fee of around £40 per head (the fee goes to the orchestra, not me!). Other costs are basically the same as those for ordinary tourists, but the local know-how can reduce these considerably (particularly accommodation). There are NO snags - except perhaps for the conductor (who must either drop out or do only half a concert!). Email pipergeo@pt.lu for further information.
