BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year 2008 opens for entries in September 2007
Calling all choirs! We are delighted to announce that the BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year 2008 website is now live full of information on the competition and how to enter.
Choir of the Year is the UK’s largest and most prestigious amateur choral competition. In the last competition over 5,000 singers took part in choirs ranging from a Bulgarian Folk Choir, to tribute groups and traditional mixed and single voice choirs – a really exciting mix of the best talent from across four Nations.

The competition climaxes at the end of 2008 with the Category Finals and a Grand Final to be broadcast on BBC TV and Radio.
