Morley College Choir now recruiting in all voice parts

Conductor: Jeremy Haneman, Accompanist: Clare Clements

A very friendly group, Morley College Choir was founded by Gustav Holst and was then led for many years by Michael Tippett. The Choir has given major world premieres including Tippett's "A Child of Our Time" and they made the first ever recording of the 40-part motet Spem in Alium by Thomas Tallis. The choir usually gives two to three concerts a year. In the 2007/2008 season the choir will be singing the glorious Mass in C by Beethoven as well as other contemporary works.

There is no audition as such, you must be able to sing in tune and have some experience of singing choral music and most importantly a passion to sing!

To join Morley College Choir please register by calling Morley College on 020 7450 1889 or for further info contact jeremy@jhaneman.com
