Brahms Requiem in Epsom on 10th November

Epsom Chamber Choir is looking for singers for Brahms Requiem on Saturday 10th November in Epsom, Surrey.

We will be singing the version with piano duo accompaniment.

The other works in the programme will be Brahms's Fest- und Gedenksprüche Op.109 for double choir and Heinrich von Herzogenberg's Variations on a Theme of Brahms Op.23 for piano duet. von Herzogenborg was a slightly younger contemporary and friend of Brahms and some feel that his association with the more famous composer has led to his music being unjustly neglected.

The soloists in the Requiem will be Anna Dennis soprano and Colin Campbell baritone. The pianists will be Anthony Goldstone and Caroline Clemmow.

If you are interested in joining the choir for this concert please contact our conductor Michael Stevenson by email: michaelstevenson7 (at) googlemail.com.

We rehearse on Thursdays 8-10pm in Langley Vale and our first rehearsal is on 13th September.
