Southampton choir welcomes new singers

Southampton Philharmonic Choir is looking forward to a season with an operatic flavour: a concert entitled "A Night at the Opera" -- arias and choruses -- featuring acclaimed soloists Natasha Marsh and Lynton Atkinson in December, and Verdi's Requiem in Winchester Cathedral in April 2008. New members from any voice-part are warmly welcomed (membership subject to a voice-test) -- tenors and basses especially so! We meet on Monday evenings from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm in the lovely Turner Sims Concert Hall, Southampton from September 24th.
