------------------------------------------ IF YOU'D LOVE TO SING the HARMONIES of MANHATTAN TRANSFER. . . . plus the songs from the best of Popular Music from - Bert Bacharach to The Beach Boys - Rogers and Hart to Robbie Williams - Steven Sondheim to Steely Dan LOOK NO FURTHER! ----------------------------------------- TAKE TWENTY Singers is a well-established, North London-based mixed-voice, jazz harmony group / choir. We rehearse weekly and perform a wide range of popular music (a capella and accompanied) featuring jazz standards and hits, Latin, folk, cabaret and show tunes. We are currently on the lookout for enthusiastic tenors / baritones / basses to join our male sections. We are a friendly and lively group with a huge back repertoire of mainly original (4-8 part) arrangements and are working with an inspiring new MD – with whom we've recently recorded our second CD. We aim to perform regularly throughout the year. REHEARSALS: We meet on Thursday evenings, 7.30-9.30 at Parliament Hill School, NW5/NW3/N6/N19 area (with termly fees of c.£75).
