Advice with Cathedral audition

Hi
I've been given an audition with a cathedral choir for a tenor vacancy. I haven't a clue about cathedral music and have little or no background with all the chanting and settings. Can anybody help! Are there websites anybody could point me towards - any specific areas one should concentrate on for sight reading etc? My background is opera you see! Should I buy a psalter etc and if so which one?
