SINGING MASTERCLASS WITH SENSE OF SOUND CHOIR MUSICAL DIRECTOR, PERRI ALLEYNE-HUGHES

The last 18 months has been amazing for Sense of Sound. We have been on a rollercoaster ride with invaluable national media coverage for both our training activities (BBC2’s BAFTA award-winning series, The Choir: Boys Don’t Sing) and our spectacular Sense of Sound Choir (BBC1’s Last Choir Standing, BBC3/BBC1’s Liverpool Nativity, BBC1’s Songs of Praise).
We have been overwhelmed by the tremendous level of support and goodwill from all of you who have been involved in our training programmes and also from audience members and viewers. We would like to say a huge thank you for your positive comments, letters of support and endorsements which we really do appreciate.
Many of you have requested that we run a singing masterclass and in response to this, we would like to offer you a special opportunity to attend a vocal masterclass with the woman responsible for creating Sense of Sound Choir’s vocal arrangements. Perri Alleyne-Hughes, our Choir Director, will be delivering two unique vocal masterclasses in February 2009 in Liverpool and London.
These specially designed masterclasses will give you the opportunity to experience Perri’s challenging and distinctive a cappella interpretations of classic contemporary songs.
As a valued member of our mailing lists we would like to offer this 3 hour masterclass at the special discounted rate of £45 if you book before Christmas. If you are not a member of our mailing lists and book after Christmas the rate will be £60.
We guarantee that this masterclass will take your singing to new heights. It promises to be a remarkable training day for anyone who loves to sing and wishes to take their experience of ensemble singing to another level.
The Liverpool masterclass will be held at the Bluecoat in Liverpool city centre on Saturday 7th February 2009 from 2pm-5pm.
The London masterclass will be held at the Tabernacle, Powis Square W11 2AY on Saturday 21st February from 2pm-5pm.
