Bedale Festival Choir

The Bedale Festival Choir (Bedale, North Yorkshire) was formed some fifteen years ago. We sing a wide variety of music from the major choral works to light and modern secular pieces. We have sung three times in York Minster and made a recording of the Durufle Requiem in Ripon Minster accompanied by Ron Perrin. We perform an annual Christmas concert in the local town hall which has become something of a Christmas tradition. For various reasons membership of the choir has diminished over the past 18 months and so we are now looking to welcome new singers in all departments of the choir. If you are interested please contact our conductor Richard Boyton for more details. Tel: 01677 425800 or if possible by email: Rickdomino47@aol.com Our next concert is the Faure Requiem and will be performed in St. Gregory's Church, Bedale, on the 4th April at 7.30pm. The organ will be played by Nigel Gaze. Tickets £5 will be available on the door.
