Musical Director required for Chamber choir

The North Downs Consort, a chamber choir of about 25 voices rehearsing in Purley, wishes to appoint a new Musical Director. The choir would prefer to appoint from September 2004 but would be prepared to wait until January 2005 for the right candidate. The choir usually performs three concerts per year and has organised open workshops and overseas singing tours.
The choir has a wide repertoire, details of which can be found on our website. The successful candidate will be expected to accompany the choir whilst learning works, but an accompanist can be provided for rehearsals where necessary.
