The New Foundling Community Choir, LONDON - new singers welcome!

The Foundling Community Choir was formed in 2010 by its Musical Director Rachel Staunton www.racheljoystaunton.co.uk and meets weekly on a Monday at Handel's once musical home, the Foundling Hospital. The choir has a current membership of 50 and it has only been going for 1 term! The choir is at the heart of its local community near Russell Square and is aimed at people who live or work in central London and fancy a sing on a Monday evening to wind down and distract from the working week.

Returning by popular demand, the choir will kick off on Monday 13th September and we rehearse from 6-8pm, working towards a Christmas concert, and some local carol singing events.

There is no audition to join the choir, we just ask for commitment and enthusiasm. All ages welcome. If you would like to find out more then please email emma@foundlingmuseum.org.uk

Come and be a part of the unbroken musical tradition at the historic Foundling Hospital.

We look forward to singing with you:-)

Rachel Staunton, Choir Director
