Rutter Requiem 4 December 2010

John Ruskin Choral Society is looking for extra singers in all sections to come and join us for a performance of the Rutter Requiem on 4 December 2010 with full orchestra at St Mary Magdalene with St Martin Church, Canning Road, Croydon CR0 6JU.
Other items on the programme include Faure - Cantique de Jean Racine, Elgar - Ave Verum and Adrian Connell's The Lord Bless You and Keep You.
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at Shirley Methodist Church, Eldon Avenue Croydon from 7.45pm-9.45pm with a rehearsal on the day at the venue from 3pm to 5pm with orchestra. Singers are encouraged to do the rehearsal on the day and at least two other rehearsals during November, although everyone is welcome to do more if they want. Rehearsals for this start on 8th September. Concert Dress is Black Skirt with White Blouse and DJ's for the gents with black bow tie.
There will be a small fee for the hire of the vocal score and to help pay towards the cost of the orchestra. This is yet to be decided but should be no more than £15.00.
