Monteverdi Singing Day in Harpenden with the Lea Singers and Eamonn Dougan of The Sixteen - Saturday 25th September

The Lea Singers from Harpenden celebrate their 50th Anniversary later this year and will be giving a performance of the Monteverdi Vespers at St John Smith Square, London on 26th February 2011.

As a prelude the Lea Singers - http://leasingers.co.uk/ are having a Monteverdi Vespers Workshop/Singing Day on Saturday 25th September 2010 in Harpenden, Herts - Start 10:30 - Finish 18:00

Eamonn Dougan is Assistant Director of the Sixteen

Eamonn Dougan sings baritone with "The Sixteen" and "I Fagiolini" and runs singing days around the country for The Sixteen. He read music at New College, Oxford and then studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

The price for the day is 25, which includes coffee, lunch, tea and a copy of the score.

The venue will be St George's School Assembly Hall, Sun Lane, Harpenden, Herts, AL5 4TD - Harpenden is only a short hop on the train from London and the venue is only 10 minutes from the train station or main bus stops in the town centre.
