Sing-a-Long Foundling Anthem at Handel House
10.00 -1.15pm at the Handel House
4.00-6.30 at the Foundling Museum
Where better to sing Handel’s Foundling Hospital Anthem than at the new Foundling Museum in the fine surroundings of the Museum’s Painting Gallery? This special sing-a-long in honour of the opening of the Foundling Museum in June and its relationship with the Handel House Museum, will give participants the opportunity to work with one of Britain's most exciting and versatile Historical Performance specialists - Laurence Cummings. Laurence will coach each section of the choir in the morning at the Handel House Museum, and then rehearse the entire choir at the Foundling Museum from 4.00pm culminating in a public performance at 6.00pm. The choir will be accompanied by musicians from the Linden Baroque Ensemble.
Ticket holders only (£15, £13 includes free Museum admission at both Museums). Scores will be available on the day.
To book, please call Letty Porter at Handel House on 020 7399 1953.
