Come and Sing Handel’s Messiah St Mary’s Church, Wedmore, Somerset, BS28 4AB Saturday 26 March 2011 from 2 pm onwards
As part of a Music Week Festival singers are invited to join in a performance of Handel’s Messiah in St Mary’s Church, Wedmore, Somerset, BS28 4AB
Registration will be from 13.15 onwards and the rehearsal will start at 14.00 and after a break for tea the performance will be at 19.30.
The charge for singers is just £5 and while there will be some scores available, ideally please bring your own copy – Watkins Shaw edition.
The cost for anyone just coming to hear the performance is £5 – pay on the door.
The conductor will be Cameron Swales and the organ accompanist will be Jonathan Vaughn, Assistant Organist at Wells Cathedral.
