The Whitehall Choir comprises around 70 enthusiastic, talented and friendly singers of all ages and backgrounds. We perform at least three major concerts each year with professional soloists and orchestras, plus a Christmas carol concert. As well as a busy concert calendar, we also have a lively social wing which gathers in the local pub after rehearsals.
Calling Basses and Altos... Whitehall Choir needs you!
Although we particularly need basses and altos at the moment, we welcome enquiries from singers from all voices.
We are very lucky to have 2 distinguished musicians as our conductor and music director, Paul Spicer and accompanist James Longford (also one half of the Longfordbrown piano duo).
We rehearse on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 9pm, at St Stephenís Church, Rochester Row, London SW1. Nearest tube, St Jamesís Park or Victoria. Admission is by short audition usually held after two or three rehearsals.
