An Evening of Music with the Canbury Singers !
Enjoy an evening of music with the Canbury Singers as they perform a programme by two masters of choral music – Purcell and Mozart.
The 30 strong local community choir returns to St Luke’s Church, Kingston on 15th October at 7.30pm to sing excerpts from Dido and Aeneas by Purcell and Solemn Vespers K339 by Mozart, which includes the sublime Laudate Dominum.
At the concert the Canbury Singers will be joined by a small orchestra, led by Robert Rathbone and four critically acclaimed soloists - Susan Jiwey, Michaela Harwood-White, Peter Kirk and John Gant. It is sure to be a memorable evening.
Tickets cost £10 in advance or £12 on the door, £7 child/concessions.
