EARLY MUSIC WORKSHOP

Saturday, 21st April, Stamford, Lincs, Barn Hill Methodist Church, from 2 p.m.

Come and explore the development of vocal polyphony from its Flemish masters, Ockeghem and Josquin through to its zenith in Rome in the early 17th Century with Palestrina and Victoria. This workshop is being led by Giles Turner, Musical Director of the Kingfisher Chorale and an expert in early music, including the works of Willaert.

Workshop: 2 - 5 p.m.; 5 p.m. teas; 6 p.m. performance
