Hall Russell Choir, Aberdeen.

I am a choir member in a Canadian choir but am looking for help in researching a choir which was active between the two world wars in Aberdeen Scotland. It was the Hall Russell Choir, not the male chorus but the mixed choir. Has anyone got any ideas about where I can get information about this choir? My aunt was a soprano for many years in it.
