Singing Workshop with Brian Kay - Sat 20th April

Following the success of singing workshops with John Rutter and Bob
Chilcott in previous years, we are delighted that St Michael’s will be
hosting another singing day in 2013.
The workshop, jointly hosted at St Michael’s by the Bishop’s Stortford
Choral Society and Music at St Michael’s, will be led by Brian Kay.
Like Bob Chilcott, who led our singing day in 2010, Brian is a former
member of close harmony vocal ensemble the King’s Singers. He is a
noted choral conductor, and is also familiar as the host of Friday
Night is Music Night on Radio 2, and until 2006 presented 3 for All
and Brian Kay’s Light Programme on Radio 3.
Brian will lead a choral singing workshop on the Requiem by Brahms,
followed by a performance in the afternoon.
20th April, 2013 (10am-5pm - registration from 9.30am, performance at 4pm)
