English Arts Chorale

The English Arts Chorale based in Reigate in Surrey is recruiting newmembers in all voices, but especially Sopranos, Tenors & Basses. We are proud to have Brian Kay as our president.

We were established over 30 years ago and are still led by by Leslie Olive and are a very friendly choir ofabout 70 members. We perform a wide and adventurous repertoire of SATB music –both modern and from the traditional choral repertoire. We rehearse at Wray Common School in Reigate (RH2 0LR) on Monday evenings, 7.45 to 10.00, toprepare for 6-10 concerts a year.

We welcome singers of all ages with flexible voices, preferably with good sight-reading ability. Come along and try us out for a fewrehearsals before taking an informal audition with our Director . We are an amateur choir that aspires to the highest standards and sings (often from memory) both locally and in some prestigious venues around the country, St John's College Cambridge and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London to name but two for this year alone. We also organise enjoyable tours abroad - this year to the South of France (some spaces still available)
