Come and Sing. This summer the Buckland & Betchworth Choral Society are participating in a rare performance of Mahler’s Symphony No 8, ‘Symphony of a Thousand’. BBCS will join forces with the Sussex Festival Choir, conducted by Stephen Hope, for what promises to be a thrilling performance of Mahler’s masterpiece at Fairfield Halls, Croydon on Sunday 28 June at 7.30pm.
Our conductor Ben Woodward will be taking rehearsals for this exciting project on Wednesdays at 7.45pm in Betchworth Village Hall, RH3 7DJ, starting 22 April 2015. We are very keen to welcome any singers who would like to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
