Public Liability Insurance

This is a supplement to Tim's post - Does anyone have competitive PL insurance that they can recommend? I've found it really quite hard to get a truly comprehensive insurance. For example there is a very good looking Chorus Master insurance, but it's for individual choirs, so if you direct more than one it becomes expensive and it doesn't cover the Director, so if I set up a PA and a choir member trips over a lead and is injured, I'm not covered. I do have a comprehensive insurance that seems to cover everything, but it's nearly £200 a year. And that is more than my fully comprehensive car insurance! Has any Gerontius member ever had to claim on PL insurance?
