Come and Sing Handel's Messiah
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Handel House opening to the public, Handel House is inviting members of choirs across the country to join them in a performance of Handelís Messiah on 12 November.
One of Handelís most famous works written from 25 Brook Street, Messiah was written in 1741 in just 24 days.
All singing levels are welcome and familiarity with the music is not necessary.
The day will be led by Laurence Cummings, who will coach vocal sections in the morning at Handel House and then invite the whole choir to join him, a professional Baroque orchestra and soloists for a full rehearsal and performance at Grosvenor Chapel, South Audley Street (where the performance will take place at 6pm).
Tickets cost £20 (concessions £15).
