Rehearsals start for Faure Requiem/Poulenc Gloria

Hampstead Chorus is a friendly community choir, led by our inspirational Musical Director, Simon Walton. This is our 10th anniversary season and our Autumn term will begin on Wednesday 6th September, when we will begin rehearsing Faure’s much loved Requiem and Poulenc’s uplifting Gloria for a concert on 9th December with professional soloists and orchestra. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9.30 in the New Lecture Theatre in the Music School at University College School in Frognal, NW3. There is no audition: we are looking for the ability to sing in tune, a willingness to practice at home between rehearsals and, above all, enthusiasm for our music-making.
