Liturgical Music Publishers

This is just to let you know of a small specialist liturgical music publisher called The Music Makers (www.themusicmakers.org). We publish new and original works of church music with a high percentage of our music being written for parish choir (i.e. amateur). Although our music is primarily aimed at the Roman Catholic liturgy, our publications (Mass settings, Motets, Anthems etc. in both English and Latin) are suitable for other demoninations as well. In addition to our own original publications, we also offer support to those wishing to perform Gregorian chant by way of resources - CDs and books of chant in modern notation.

All of our publications may be viewed on line, although the sound you hear is MIDI, which is not particularly helpful for choral music! Nevertheless it gives an idea of the style of music.

The Music Makers publishes music by five composers, Michael Gryspeerdt, David Hoyland, Jeremy de Satge, John Polhamus and David McCulloch and is actively looking for choirs to perform our music in both liturgical and concert settings.

Please do visit our website and do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further information.
