New choir in North Cumbria

To explore performance practice in the baroque repertoire (though other periods will not be ruled out!)
To rehearse fairly intensively for specific projects leading to performance, rather than weekly rehearsals. These will be arranged as far as possible to avoid contention with other similar societies in the area.
Size of group is aimed initially at around 12.
Entry will be by audition (but its not fearsome!), please enquire in the first instance by sending a private message through this forum.
(Director is a former diocesan music adviser, and assistant regional director of the RSCM.)
