Morley College Choir Needs You!

We are currently recruiting singers in all voice parts to join us in the Fauré Requiem to be performed in a concert in central London on 13th December 2006. Other works include motets by Duruflé and part songs by the choir's founder, Gustav Holst.

Morley College Choir is the oldest choir at the College and was founded by Gustav Holst and then led for many years by Michael Tippett. The Choir has given many major world premieres including Tippett’s A Child of Our Time and they made the first ever recording of Tallis’s 40-part motet Spem in Alium.

Morley College Choir is a very friendly group of around 35 singers. No audition is required – all you need is to be able to sing in tune and have some knowledge of choral singing as well as a commitment to making beautiful music!

Conductor: Jeremy Haneman
Accompanist: Clare Clements
