Vacancies: Arcadian Singers of Oxford University

The Arcadian Singers of Oxford University, conducted by Alexander Campkin, are auditioning for new singers.

Over the past five years we have recorded two successful CDs, broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and have toured yearly.

We are a chamber choir of about 20 members. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings and perform one concert each term. Upcoming events also include Evensong in Westminster Abbey and tours.

To register interest or for more information contact Andy (andrew.evans@jesus.ox.ac.uk)

Some reviews we have received:

BBC Music Magazine: ‘The Arcadian Singers display dedication, accuracy and insight into the composers' idioms.’ (Performance **** Sound ****)

Cathedral Music: ‘The Arcadian Singers tackle the music very well, nicely balanced throughout, tempi neither too fast nor too slow where it matters.’

Choir and Organ: ‘There is a wealth of talent in our universities as shown on this CD marking the 25th anniversary of The Arcadian Singers of Oxford.’
