Email groups for choirs Can't Post

Hi

I would like to set up an email group for a choir I am involved with (Singers of London), primarily so that various cttee members can email the membership without having to each maintain a copy of the email list.

Requirements are

- should not force replies to go back to the list

- ability for people to change there own email address, pref via a website

- calendar would be useful. Ability to copy to create a similar but not periodic event (I have found with Yahoo that you have to enter all the details each time with is a pain).

Yahoo and smartgroups spring to mind, can anyone suggest any other way of doing it. Any experience from choirs as to what works/doesnt work would be appreciated.

Should be interested to hear from you on your progress with email communications between choirs. See my website www.intermusica.org for my general background.
