I am a Maltese citizen, currently reading for an MPhil specialising in Sacred Choral Music at the University of Malta, and will be coming to the UK to further my studies in September 2007. I shall be studying for an MMus at Christ Church University, Canterbury, specialising in Conducting. I am a Soprano and I also play the organ.
I have obtained my Associateship in Music Theory as well as Voice and Piano Performance and Licentiate in (inc teacher's Diploma) in Singing/Vocal Techinque. I have also read for a University Diploma in Sacred Music, specialising in Composition and Organ.
I am looking for a job (preferably in the area of Kent but I am willing to travel) which will help me finance my studies (even if in a small way) while I am there between September 2007 & Sept 2008. It is not only about the job itself, but I am a very active musician here in Malta and I am sure I shall be missing all the choir/orchestra etc activities i organise over here so I would like to have something similar in England too.
