Choral workshops at South Bank Centre, London

As part of their Choral Festival, the South Bank are running a series of five free one-hour singing workshops (Choral Club: http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/calendar/productions/choral-club-world-music-with-39870) each weekday evening from Monday 12th May culminating in a performance on Sunday 18th May. There is gospel, jazz, musical theatre, pop classics, and I will be doing world music on Wednesday 14th.

Wind down at the end of the working day with an hour-long singing session: each evening a different guest director takes you through a selection of pieces across different styles (I will be covering World Music in unaccompanied harmony). Drop in to just one, or become a choral club junkie and come along every evening.
All the songs are further polished on Sunday 18 May for a massed performance in The Clore Ballroom as a climax to the Chorus festival. Experienced singers can just come along on the Sunday and pick the songs up then! Performance at 5.30pm, Rehearsal registration from 10am.
