Bedworth Singers are going to perform a concert at Nicholas Chamberlain Technology College, Bulkington Road, Bedworth on Saturday 15th November 2008.
We are going to perform “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff.
We will be performing the piece for five percussion and two pianos with semi professional soloists. The rehearsals and performance will be under the direction of our Musical Director Mr. David Bray.
The rehearsals will take place at Canon Maggs School, Derwent Road in Bedworth on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm starting on 19th June 2008 and continuing weekly until the performance (except for Thursday 7th and 14th August). There will be a rehearsal on the afternoon of the concert.
I would like to invite you to come along and join us for what should be a great evening. If you know of any others that you think would like to join us, please feel free to invite them to come along.
If you are planning on coming along, please note that the latest you can join us is Thursday 4th September. However if you are a very experienced singer who has excellent sight reading skills/and or knows the piece well than we would be happy for you to join us at a later stage.
We would also be really pleased to hear from any choirs that wanted to join us - especially if you wanted to do the piccolo chorus parts.
