Vivace! have entered the folk category of this music competion which runs from 30/10 to 02/11/08. Unfortunately the choir have been hit by 3 withdrawals, one each on the soprano, alto and bass lines. I am therefore seeking good quality replacements to join us on this trip.
The choir items we will be singing are;
- When I ws in my prime ( a beautiful Irish tune requring a bass bottom D drone)
- Linden Lea - RVW's arrangement
- What shall we do with the Drunken Sailor - arrangement by Eva Toller
If you are interested in this trip and could make one of the three rehearsals we will be holding in Ditchling (near Brighton) during October, please let me know. Totall cost would be around £450 pounds.
