Calling all composers …get ready for an exciting choral composition opportunity!
Create a choral work for the celebrated Brighton Fringe Festival 2009, to be performed by The Brighton City Singers and The South London Choir under the inspired musical direction of MJ Paranzino.
It’s a great opportunity to write for a large, high profile community choral concert with over 200 adult voices. Experience working to a deadline, and hear what your work sounds like in performance.
The concert title is Sex & Drugs & Rock’n’Roll - write whatever you feel the title means to you and convey that through your composition. 4 or 6 part harmony, accapella, accompanied by piano or small orchestra, electronic background, a video or multimedia piece - follow whatever direction the title takes you!
All choral pieces must be submitted online at mjadmin@me.com and
be received by the end of February at the latest. Do not hesitate to contact MJ or Diana on 020 7277 3636 if you have any questions.
Take this opportunity to create and be heard at the 2009 Brighton Fringe Festival on May 23rd at Hove Town Hall.
