Do you love to sing? Then come and join Just A Cappella – we are now actively looking for new members and as a special incentive throughout May if you bring a tenor ( and they become a member) you can earn a tenner! Just A Cappella are a group of men and women who sing in the “A Cappella” style. Just our voices with no accompaniment. The group was founded in February 2003 by six experienced, compulsive barbershop harmony singing enthusiasts who wanted to access a wider range of musical styles that could be shared by men and women together. We meet on Monday evenings in Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. Our repertoire includes the ‘evergreen’ popular songs of the 20th century, some doo-wop, gospel and some swing and jazz style pieces plus we are always willing to try something new! We are a friendly group who work hard but have great fun doing it. We are also dedicated to raising money for local charities.
