searching for choirs Can't Post

Hey all!

I'm based in Wivenhoe/Essex and am looking for a choir to join. Have been searching online but don't know who to approach or how really..

Am an alto/mezzo soprano who's been in chorale groups, ensembles, stage performances for well over 10 years now. I sing in a fair few choirs at home: St. Mary's of the Angels Basilica Principal Choir, Geelong Chorale.. plus i join in on other choirs when they need help with performances and events.

I have much experience in fine sacred music both ancient through to contemporary.

Please if anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it!!

Cheers. Smile

Have a look at British Choirs on the Net website - wide listing of choirs all over the country

Good Luck

These two pages on gerontius may help:

Choirs in the Colchester area
http://www.gerontius.net/cgi-bin/member.cgi?Town=Colchester
Choirs in the Chelmsford area
http://www.gerontius.net/cgi-bin/member.cgi?Town=Chelmsford

This works for any main post town in the UK.
