Siglo de Oro - Saturday 20th June - Songs of Sorrow and Salvation

Early music vocal ensemble Siglo de Oro have recently returned from a successful tour of East Anglia, performing a programme entitled 'Songs of Sorrow and Salvation'. The Eastern Daily Press called us a 'splendid and talented ensemble' and said that 'this young ensemble (in English, 'The Golden Age') sang a programme of sacred Renaissance works with such feeling that the effect on the listener was spiritual as well as inspirational'.
On Saturday June 20th at 7.30pm the group will be performing this programme (a musical exploration of the Holy Week narrative, including works by Purcell, Victoria, Sheppard and Pederson) in London at the Rosslyn Hill Chapel in Hampstead.
