Accendo Singers from Kingston-upon-Thames are giving their first concert on Tuesday 14th July 2009 at the Ram Jam, 46 Richmond Road, Kingston, KT2 5EE. Repertoire will include a mix of uplifting modern choral music (Laurisden, Chilcott, Dobrogoz) and also, in tribute to Michael Jackson, a performance of Man in The Mirror, a masterpiece of pop music. The choir was started in May 2009 by Adam Assen and is an energetic choir that rehearses after buying a drink at the bar!
