One Thousand Voices Wanted
2009 is the 250th anniversary of the death of George Frideric Handel. For our Come and Sing Scotland event this year we have chosen to sing Messiah, much loved by singers all over the world and always a challenge! Christopher Bell will direct in his usual inimitable fashion. The rehearsal will whizz along and the performance with the massed voices and the Usher Hall’s magnificent organ played by Morley Whitehead is sure to produce a stunning concert.
In addition, the performance will feature an impressive line up of young Scottish soloists – your chance to hear the stars of the future.
