Looking for a Choir in the North West Can't Post

I live in Manchester but am a student in Ormskirk and am looking for a choir to join. I have varied tastes in music and so ideally would like to find a choir that fits me which has a broad repertoire.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Liz

Hi, what is your voice range? Have a look at www.cantique.co.uk

Thanks, I will take a look. My voice range is F below middle C to F one and a half octaves above middle C.

Anyway, I will take a look at the website you mention.

I have sent you a couple of messages. One bounced back but hopefully one made it through. If not, please confirm your email address. I can be contacted on lizjeffries@o2.co.uk

Have you thought of trying for the Hallé Choir? It will be auditioned, but they regularly sing at the Bridgewater Hall with the hallé orchestra. And they're a great bunch of people. I sing with Brighton Festival Chorus. We had a collaboration with them last year in Manchester and had a great time.

Hi Rosemary,

Thanks for your reply. I am not (yet) of the standard needed for the Halle but it is certainly something I would consider in the future and it is good to hear of such a positive experience of them.
