Akeman Voices, North Oxfordshire leading chamber choir currently have vacancies for a Tenor and 2nd Bass. We begin rehearsal for our next season of concerts at the end of February 2010 and are keen to fill both vacancies by the mid- March 2010. Good sight reading is an advantage, but not essential.

Akeman Voices was formed in 1999 by Musical Director, Martin Quinn. The choir made up of just 18 accomplished local singers from the North Oxfordshire area, performs a mainly classical repertoire. Akeman Voices travels around Oxfordshire & neighbouring counties in a busy concert schedule, consisting of 5/6 public performances per year.
