The Ionian Singers are looking for singers with choral experience for all parts. We are a mixed choir of 30-35 voices encompassing a variety of ages, education and careers with a common passion for rehearsing and performing interesting music to a high standard. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Lambeth with around five concerts per year singing challenging music from the Renaissance to the present day. Repertoire for the 2010-11 season includes a wide variety of mainly unaccompanied music by Byrd, Morley, Gibbons and J.S. Bach to Lutyens, Salter and Joubert via Howells, Stanford, Warlock, Barber and many others.
