childrens' requiem 1960s Can't Post

Hello, I'm new to this forum, but hope someone can help me out. I've just found at home a cassette tape of a recording of a school choir from about the end of the 60s or 1970, singing a really beautiful and catchy requiem. It came from a friend who was at school in Clevedon near Bristol but I don't think it was her school, St. Brandon's as I think they are boys singing. I remember the work was never published but performed and sold for charity, and I remember that the composer had a Greek sounding name. I did have his name until recently, but have lost it. I would really like to know if anyone remembers this and can help me with the composer's name. I would like to know if it was ever published.
