Come and sing Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Requiem with the Lea Singers of Harpenden

under guest conductor Jeremy Summerly.



This singing afternoon is open to all singers to join in a celebration of the 400th Anniversary of the composers’ death and the 50th Anniversary of the Lea Singers chamber choir who will be your hosts for the day.



The Singing Afternoon will take place at the Fowden Hall, Rothamsted Research, Harpenden, Herts, AL5 2JQ.



Harpenden is just 25 minutes from London and Fowden Hall is just 10 minutes walk from the railway station.



Singers Participation Fee is £15 and this includes hire of the vocal score and afternoon tea.



Singers will need to register at 13.30 and the workshop will run from 14.00 to 18.00 when there will be a run-through to finish the day.

Jeremy Summerly is a renowned conductor and Head of Academic Programmes and Head of Undergraduate Studies at the Royal Academy. He has conducted over 50CD recordings spanning music from Gregorian Chants to the present day and has toured extensively worldwide. He has conducted at the BBC Proms and with Berlin Philharmonie.
