NEW SINGING GROUP SEEKING SINGERS

A newly formed group of singers is recruiting members in Guildford Surrey, there are openings for all voices (SATB). Our objective is to sing together as a small group of soloists, not a choir, so there will be opportunities for solos and duets in each show. We will be singing excerpts and arias from operas and some Show numbers.
We are performing to raise money for charities, so this is unpaid, but you should find working with us will be very rewarding, for example we already have several talented principal singers.
The rehearsals are Wedsnesday evenings, fortnightly in Guildford, and we are planning two shows per year.
Although we are not looking for any formal qualifications or previous experience, this is a group of soloists so a good strong voice is needed. Being able to read music is useful but is not a prerequisite.
