Music on the Ladder at St. Paul's Church, Harringay, London, is hosting another Come and Sing event on Saturday, 20 October. Local conductor David Went will join us again to put us through our paces in rehearsing and performing Vivaldi’s “Gloria”, all in one day. We’ll be kicking off rehearsals at 1.00p.m. There will be plenty of tea breaks during the afternoon, and we’ll perform Gloria at 7.00 p.m., with refreshments afterwards. So, if you fancy (in the words of violinist Nigel Kennedy) “a bit of Viv”, please join us to sing or as an audience member for the performance. Singers £10, audience £5. Scores will be provided for singers who need them. We'll be using the Ricordi edition. Singers please book in advance by e-mailing us at musicontheladder@gmail.com, including the following information: Name: Contact number: Voice: Own score?: Whether you'd like to receive e-mails about future Music on the Ladder events: You can find out more information about Music on the Ladder on our website at http://www.saint-pauls-harringay.org.uk/musicontheladdernews.html or by following us on Twitter: @musicontheladdr We'll also be holding auditions for the solo parts in the Gloria on 23 September between 2.30 and 4.30 pm - e-mail us to book your spot.
